Eddy is an organic shrimp aquaculture pioneer. He is trilingual and worldly with a proven successful vertical track record that not only includes the handling of shrimp all the way from the primary pond and ocean levels to the marketplace, but includes the knowledge and experience in the new world of technically growing, sourcing and marketing organically farmed shrimp and sustainably caught wild seafood.

He served as Vice President of OceanBoy Farms where he spearheaded the organic shrimp program to convert this high technology shrimp aquaculture firm to the first commercial certified organic operation in the US.

His expertise in the workings and the requirements of the US Governmental regulatory agencies were manifested as he served on the board, as Vice President, of the Florida Organic Growers and Consumers Association, parent of QCS, an accredited USDA organic certifier. Eddy operated his 20 acre commercial all natural table grape vineyard and his 450 head USDA certified organic hog farm while devoting full time to sustainable seafood production and processing.

He is President of AgroIndustries, an importer and marketer of organic and chemical-free shrimp and seafood products to major supermarket chains.

Eddy’s full vertically integrated experience in the seafood industry started back in 1978. His experience includes successful achievements in worldwide shrimp procurement, production planning, cost accounting, warehousing and logistics, quality control, marketing and seafood processing. A fast track management program in food distribution management started his career in the food industry.

Mr. Daniel graduated from Cornell University in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness Administration and Animal Science.
